Where have I been?
I
have been busy! This blog was the journey of me becoming. All I
wanted, all I dreamed. It was me teetering on the edge of that
terrifying precipice, longing, needing to jump, but terrified to do
so.
Well,
now I’ve jumped. Headfirst no less.
I
sold my wonderful home, my
only investment. I paid off my considerable debt, including those
student loans still hounding me, and then I quit my job – my career
as a Regional Director and Supervising Prison Psychologist for 16
years. What I did next was buy a 31 foot class ‘A’ motor home, gutted and renovated it, named her Beastie Girl, and moved in full time. I am going on
two years full-time and I haven't looked back, not once.
I
get to now claim my life as a full-fledged, full-time writer. I
travel, I write, I explore. I live.
My
writing includes a completed novel and another in progress. I write
travel stories, essays and short stories. I am also adapting my first
novel into a screenplay.
